back to reality

Whew. The weekend was lovely and full of love, laughter, food, alcohol, and fun. Now it's back to reality. My feet are so tender from all the dancing and walking, I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep, I have no clue where half my things are, but it was all worth it. Your best friend from high school only gets married once! Congrats to Reg & Paul!

How was your weekend? 

P.S. I was so in love with my makeup for the wedding. I had false lashes added (first time!), and I must say, they're a revelation. Any recommendations on a good brand of falsies for a newbie like me?

Revolution Brewing Bottom Up Wit

I had thought about doing a round-up of weekend snapshots, but really, the only snapshot necessary is of my favorite new beer above. Found at Trader Joe's while doing our once-every-six-weeks grocery haul. 

It's Monday, and all I can think about is drinking one of these when I get home.

I love coffee. I love the way it smells as much as the way it tastes. Sure, I'm a fan of tea, as well, but coffee to me equals energy, a step towards productivity, a new start while tea for me is the drink I choose when I want to slowly ease into sleep. I found some great coffee accessories that I've put together on polyvore - loving the etsy print above, the cheeky cow creamer, and the Intelligentsia coffee (seriously great coffee plus it's from Chicago, my hometown!). 

In the fall, a perfect day would mean cuddling up in a blanket with a freshly made cup of coffee, doing nothing but reading and spending time with my boyfriend. I intend to do just that this Sunday.
